The Lake Arbor Jazz Festival at Mitchelville’s Lake Arbor Community Center is one of the region’s best jazz events, featuring a series of contemporary and traditional jazz and R&B artists from across the country. This year, the event will happen from July 12–16th. There are general admission and VIP tickets available, and free parking is open to all attendees. The festival will host over 50 food and merchandise vendors, along with a beer and wine lounge.

Award-winning artists will bring the sizzle with dynamic performances in an outdoor space. Legendary soul and funk band WAR will headline the festival, and other acts will include Special Occasions Band; the Blackbyrds; the Kim Scott, Jazmin Ghent, and Rebecca Jade trio; and the Lake Art Jazz Uncut, featuring Marcus Anderson, Julian Vaughn, Nicolas Cole, Nathan Mitchell, and Lin Roundtree.
